Depending on the severity the (Top End) of a two stroke motor can be rebuilt. Top end refers to boring the cylinders and replacing Pistons, Circlips, Piston Rings and Piston Bearings. In most cases the cylinders can be machined to the next piston size up. If Sevier damage has accrued the cylinders will have to be replaced.
